Reasons for the formation of cracks in the arm of the concrete pump truck - truemax

The formation of cracks in the arm of the concrete pump truck is generally caused by the following reasons:

 concrete pump truck

1. The weld and the base metal are not fused. This defect is relatively common, especially the high-strength steel plate used in the material of the pump truck. It can be seen from the crack surface that a section of the weld is not fused well.

2. During the construction of the concrete pump truck, the distributing arm is unfolded, the boom of each distributing machine and the hydraulic cylinder of the outrigger are locked, and the whole arm of the placing machine forms a beam structure. Moreover, the boom of the concrete pump truck adopts the RZ-shaped structure, and there are three or four booms behind the two booms, of which three booms also adopt a bending structure, and the two booms have to bear the torsional load. At the same time, when the concrete pump truck is working, the two pumping hydraulic cylinders alternately circulate, so as to continuously press the concrete to the pouring position. Due to the alternating action of the two pumping cylinders, the concrete pump truck is subjected to a forced impact with a frequency. Under the impact of the pumping cylinder, the vibration of the distributing arm has a magnifying effect, so the distributing arm is subjected to alternating loads, causing fatigue damage;

3. The pump truck basically operates in the open air environment, and the local strength will decrease due to the long-term erosion of corrosive media such as rainwater and hydrogen sulfide in the air.

In the current concrete construction machinery work, the truemax manufacturer professionally reminds you that you must pay attention to maintenance during the work, professional training of operators, and careful driving and construction.
